cool if u show it to the comunity, but would e even cooler if u would give a short explanation what it is doing. so anyone can see if he should try it out or not d12
-
since noone answered yet to this and i guess thats the problem since i had this aswell: did u guys MANUALLY install the directX runtime on ur vm? d12
-
before ill create myself an ahk script which is doing this ill rather stay without that lol. too ugly.
-
did u just try it, or did u succeed?and i guess u did that in the vm. not sure about ur other question. just install the windows updates in the vm. this should give u anything important. only latest directx has to be installed then. d12
-
check if u installed directX runtime in the vm. .net components should be installed via the windows update. d12

didnt know there is a cap for less item drops. but could u explain it a bit more? only the item drop penality. i know i can farm faster and get better IIR/IIQ gear on higher lvls. d12 -
u can get reported if ur running through the town areas all the time. but as i think its only reporting by other players atm. so try to get ur time within one instance maxed. d12

follow ALL the steps mentioned on the download page. means reading EVERYTHING on the download page. and if u still got the error after following the intructions u should atleast post what the error msg says. "error plx help" is just useless. noone can help u like this d12

not rly save. since if u lvl up once cause of some kind of "luck" u cant get back. d12 -
as it seems, that GGG doesnt have any automatic bot detection yet it should be alot more save to bot solo. only way to get banned atm is to get reported by other players. this is just what i think. might be that GGG has bot detection alrdy. d12

ur english seems pretty crappy ;P so what i understand from reading ur post is: u want an option which u can choose if ur currently equipped gems get automatically lvled or not. good idea, but not too important atm i would say. d12

hey, know this was suggested few times again, but couldnt find where so i just created a new one. in my eyes its quite important at this state to get this feature done soon. even with my 2 line system in the inventory which can loot belts aswell i did loot 1 unique belt and 2 unique ammys within 1day. seems like im missing alot that way. also doing an auto drop white, blue, yellow wouldnt make it necessary to improve the looting now since the looting is very inaccurate atm. d12

hey, i would rly like to see this feature soon since my chars are lvling too fast xD the idea is to die when the character reached a certain amount of lvl and exp. so he doesnt lvlup and get overlvled for the area. (especially for higher areas. merciless onwards) d12 -
path finding is in work atm. so soon the most zones should be possible. bot is still in alpha so its just try and error d12

just dont change the system with the config files if u get used to the config files its as good as and even better than a gui ;P d12 -
was mentioned in some threads alrdy. mud flats, the forest, broken bridge and city of sarn (not for me tho but alot of ppl like it). playing leap slam only atm so city of sarn is working quite good aswell. d12

true, but guess the serverside close is the same if ur telling the server to close. therefore logging of should be still faster than closing the client. d12
-
logging out with the logout button or closing the client shouldnt give any difference since the logout time depends on ur connection to the server. probably some kind of the same methods get called if u logout or close the client. d12

hey, as i said i suck if it comes to network things was just reading and thats the information i got out of my readings. what u said might be correct. cant rly say that xD ofc its a good option to always use a proxy or vpn in the vm. this should rly be save then as i know. but i highly doubt GGG is banning per router mac address since there would be too many bans for no reason. d12

[AVOID ITEM NEAR ENEMY] Avoid item if enemy nearby
dveh replied to topic's d12 in Exiled Bot Feature Request
had some problems with bot wandering outside the range of the items which should be looted. my solution is to set the skill max range to 500 and the safe range to 300. works quite fine.probably not too cool for ranged builds. d12 -
hey, i just made a tutorial about setting up a vm for "save" botting. maybe u guys can atke a look at it. captianwow u seem to know a bit about networks. so if u find some mistakes in my thread it would be cool to tell us. i just suck if it comes to networking d12

Hey botters, First of all: If anyone got suggestions or finds some mistakes in my thoughts you are welcome to tell me. I'll also answer to questions if necessary. But please read the whole thread before asking. So since there have been several bans already i decided to write a small tutorial how to setup the vm within vmware player so atleast the main account is save from getting banned. I'll also add performance optimations which might do a big deal or not. (but worth a shot anyways) From my tries Windows 7 32bit seems to work quite well. (2GB RAM, 32GB hard drive, 4 cpu cores) You might go with less cpu. I just dont care giving it a bit more since ill just run one vm since my graphics card cant handle more poe clients anyways I wont explain here how to setup a vm in vmware player since there are plenty of good tutorials out there. But ill try to help you guys make the botting more save against getting banned. (mostly preventing bans on the main account since this seems to be rly important to me) I was reading a bit about the different network connection types in vmware since this seems to be quite important in case of getting banned on several accounts or not. I'm not 100% sure but as it seems the default option (NAT network) isnt a good option to bot in a vm and use the main account on the "real" windows version at the same time. To change this option you can go to the settings of your vm and select the network adapter. In the network connection section u got the possibility to change between bridged, NAT and host-only. In our case we want to run the vm in bridged mode. This will basically make the vm look like a seperate physical computer from the internet. It will have a seperate IP and MAC address. This will use a seperate IP address in your network for any vm connected via bridged mode. So if you dont got enough IP addresses left this isnt a good idea or might be even not possible. But since most ppl out there got some kind of wlan routers this shouldnt be a problem. Since your vm will show up like a seperate physical computer in your network it might be possible to see for GGG that there are other computers playing poe in this network. But if they are not banning per router MAC address (which they wont do in my opinion due to obvious reasons) your main account should be save even if your bot account gets banned. A short explanation to those connection types can be found here: http://communities.vmware.com/docs/DOC-2527 http://blog-rat.blogspot.de/2009/05/bridged-vs-host-only-vs-nat.html It is also a good idea to enable "replicate physical network conection state". (this will reconnect your vm to the internet if ur changing between networks) Thanks to Swarley here is a video which shows a few options to do within your windows vm which might improve performance: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a1ZK03c0Wfw For me it is still better to use the windows aero theme since there are graphic bugs when i dont use it and running the poe client. As i know those graphic bugs dont affect the bot in any way. But i didnt try this long and just changed back the theme to aero. I hope this will make your botting experience better. yours d12
