  1. Introduction

    Even though Alk is optimizing EB and removed some features that weren't working or not needed anymore, EB1 still has a learning curve that is sometimes difficult to tackle for new players.

    Thats why I decided to write down a setup that is working well for me, and hopefully for you.

    Botting Character

    I decided to go trickster this season. Trickster, even though nerfed in 3.26, is an amazing defensive ascendancy. This way you don't have to worry about your bot dying, which can lead to problems and of course to less divine per hour. With trickster overleech (soul drinker) ever damage you take is immediately leeched back up. 
    Since currently scarabs are not supported, we can only alch and go maps. Therefore we don't need that much damage.

    Smite Trickster probably works too.

    The setups seems to be smart, using the new amulet to get a lot of ES, and using generals cry and the cluster jewel to get onslaught. Since I try to stay budget I'm not using the dying sun or the forbidden jewels.

    Boots/Gloves/Helmet/Shield get crafted by buying a bunch of ilvl 84+ bases and spamming alterations on them until you hit t1 ES on one base and t1 increased ES on the other. Then you slap them in the unpredictable recombinator and hope both mods get taken over. If you are successful and your suffixes are bad, you can recraft them with eldrich chaos.

    Sadly the resolute technique ephemeral edge shot up in price. I bought it for 6d, now its 20. If you can not afford this, just go without it and click on some accuracy nodes in the tree. For example "Acuity" with the +500 accuracy mastery. Be careful, EE now rolls 10-15% increased damage, it is MUCH better to get a 15% one without RT, than it is to get a 10% one with RT.

    For lethal pride is use one that gives endurance charge on kill and rage on hit. When I bought it they were like 100c. This way you can chose what you want to annoint on your amulet. I'm using charisma since I didnt want to run jewels with reservation efficiency. 

    Currently I'm at 13.600 ES with items I would count as "good, but far from perfect".

    Atlas setup

    I'm a bit all over the place. Most important are the Deli nodes. Those account for 50% of my gains. I'm also running a bit of essence, scarab, strongbox and shrine. Adjust to your liking.

    EB Setup

    This season I decided to bot in T16's. If you have a strong character this seems to be worth it. If not it is totally fine to just spam t1 - t4 maps, but that is not topic in this guide. 

    Currently the pickit delivered with EB is very strict. I don't like that, so adjusted it. Now it picks up more scarabs and some uniques that I can convert to dust in Kingsmarch.

    Also the maps.ipd delivered with EB is currently a bit broken. By default it doesn't include some of the new maps, which can lead to crashes. Also many of the modifiers included in the file are outdated and don't work anymore. My advice is to use an ipd where you block all maps except 2 connected maps. I chose ashen woods and lighthouse, since those 2 maps don't have a boss arena which are prone to bug the bot out. Also I scyred good divination cards from defiled cathedral to ashen woods. So far no Apothecary :(.

    I also added the map modifiers that are bad for this build. This way my EB leveled all the way to 98. Could probably go to 100, but there are a few crash issues currently, which leads to deaths.

    And I enabled chiseling the maps. Its just too strong not to do.

    The combat setup is simple. Rightclick for lightning strike, lowest priority. E for Vaal Lightningstrike, 5000 cooldown, higher priority. R for "Order: To me" to heal your merc. "1" for your Prismatic Tincture. I use an attack speed tincture, since I get elemental penetration from doryanis in my merc. 15000 cooldown and target selection rare.

    Since Auras dont disable anymore on death you dont need to set them up in the combat settings.

    Attached are screenshots of my EB settings and also my configuration folder. Keep in mind that configuration files can not always be carried over to new versions, so in future those might not work anymore.

    Coordinator

    Sadly I cant tell you why the coordinator is not working for some people. It is working for me. Ini is also attached. I use it without the restarter. The way I start my bot is just by rightclicking on the .exe of the coordinator and run as administrator.

    POE setup

    I use the "soft" filter from filterblade. Normally it is not advised to use a filter, but in t16 too much stuff is dropping. The soft filter does not seem to interfere with EB, so thats good.

    Also go to the keybinds, change "Item pickup key" to "alt" and the "Show advanced item descriptions" to "F". Then go to game settings and enable Key Pickup "use bound key". This way your bot does not missclick on items he doesnt want.

    Flask setup

    I always use 2 quicksilver flasks with movementspeed and enkindling orbs for more effect. The bot walks around a lot, so if you have good movementspeed, you are much more effective.

    The other flasks you can chose by your liking. But of course, if you run Grace aura, it makes sense to use a Jade flask with increased evasion rating.

    Merc setup

    We are lightning based, so we can make use of doryanis and perquils toe on our merc. Piscators and Dawnbreaker for weapon/shield. Kaoms binding for defensive. Curse on hit gloves with elemental weakness. Windscream boots so it does not overwrite my mark. Rings with minus to lightning resist to make use of doryanis. Helmet just to round everything up with defenses, cold/fire/chaos resists.

    I use kineticist since fallen reverend sadly bugs out the bot because of the minions.

  2. My EB attacks a wall, because there are monsters behind the wall

    You can work around this with your combat settings. You need to add your main attack 2 times.

    1. With cooldown 300ms, high range (70)

    2. Without cooldown, low range (15)

    With this configuration he will "stutterstep" to the enemy until he is within 15 range.


  3. My EB attacks mobs that spawning in the water and are not killable in burial bog

    You can open your config.ini and edit this value:

    max_monster_timeout=

    For example if you are certain your build can kill anything in the game within 15 seconds, you can set this value to 15.

    Please note that this includes bosses too. After the timeout is reached he wont attack this enemy, even if the enemy attacks your character.


  4. My EB picks up a map from the stash and then opens and closes the stash repeatedly

    I'm not 100% sure what the solution here is, but most likely your stash tab configuration is wrong.

    Example for a valid stash configuration:

    "Stash tabs:" always needs the full list of all your tabs you are planning to use. If you have many tabs its better to use the tabs in the beginning of your stash.

    Quad Tabs is not supported. Currency tab is supported. 

    The number in the configuration refers to the position of the tab in your stash, NOT the name of the tab.


  5. My EB doesn't pickup any maps from the map tab

    Make sure the maps you are trying to use are configured in your maps ipd file.

    For example if you want to run maps tier 12 and above, you have to use this line:

    [MapTier] >= "12"        # [RunMap] == "true"

    By default EB only runs tier 1 and 2 maps. 


  6. How can I upgrade maps to rare (POE2)?

    Right now you can only upgrade maps that have normal quality to rare with alchemy orb.

    Add the following line to your maps IPD file.

    [Rarity] == "Normal"     # [UpgradeToRare] == "true"

    Make sure you have enough alchemy orbs in your currency tab.

    Upgrading with regal orb is currently not supported.


  7. I think I didn't change much. I finally added Charisma as amulet annoint so I can run malevolence.

    Having a bit of trouble "leveling", bot is only level 88. But thats not much of an issue, strong enough to clear maps fast.

    Just some rare combinations this league hit harder than usual. Maybe should squeeze in spell suppression, but I don't really wanna invest too much into gear.

    The quicksilvers are with increased effect enkindling orb for some more speed.

    Armour flask of course with increased armour and quicksilvers with reduced curse effect. Or vice versa.

    Life flask with "instant recovery on low life" and setup so that the bot only uses it below 50% -> always instant.

    Im running Basalt with increased evasion rating, but you can do whatever you want on that.

    for 3.18 I'm going KB CV Champion... again. But this time with a little guide for my homies.

    Wont use the Frenzy setup, because obviously we will only run maps.

     

    I have attached an prepared skills.ini. Maybe will need some updating, will see after launch.

    Not sure if my double use of "travel skill" will work (Frostblink + Shield Charge).

    We use Frostblink to trigger Arcane Surge. If it seems buggy maybe we need to remove Frostblink and find a workaround.

    If you can not fit all auras remove one from the setup duh.

    Hi,

    turns out the setup of Exsanguinate Champ is straight forward and easy.

    I am using this build: https://pastebin.com/mRkvUYGH (you need Path of Building to view this)

    It is very tanky and the map clear with chain is good. This build has no problems with the league mechanic.

    But the movement speed is not very high, have to see how I can optimize that.

     

    All I did was exanguinate with default settings on right click.

    Corrupting Fever with 8000ms cooldown prio 20 on W.

    And the Auras on Strg Q/W/E/R with the default Aura settings of EB.

     

    Feel free to ask me questions about the setup.

     

     


  10. Crafting

     

    Weapon

    Weapons are very easy to craft. First you need a lvl 78+ warlord axe. https://www.pathofexile.com/trade/search/Expedition/2m4g3QeHk

    Then you use corroded fossils on it until you hit  #% increased Physical Damage over Time and #% increased Damage with Bleeding, Attacks have #% chance to cause Bleeding

    Its very easy to hit, about 1 in 7 fossils. Then you will need an open suffix to craft # increased Damage over time with the crafting bench.

    This is a 10-20c craft for a 50c+ weapon.

    I'm not sure how valuable attack speed is on the weapon for sst. maybe someone can tell? I guess its not bad if you also hit attack speed.

     

    Shield

    For shields you need at least a lvl 86+ base. Colossal Tower shield, because it has the highest base armour. https://www.pathofexile.com/trade/search/Expedition/bGlKzRiL

    Doesn't need to be influenced. But with Shaper influence you can hit % life recovery on block which is VERY valueable, but also very expensive.

    On the shield we use perfect fossils until we hit 30 quality. Then dread essences until you hit double T1 (or at least T1+T2) #% increased armour and # to armour.

    This is not a cheap craft and costs 100c+ fast.

    Shield trade trick

    An easy method to get a cheap shield is to search for 2300+ armour shields that don't have quality on them yet. And only 2 suffixes.

    Buy a shield like this and craft +# to Dexterity, +#% to Quality on it. This way you get a 2500 armour shield for a low invest.

    If you want to make it even better you can craft even more quality on it with a hilock safehouse craft.
