A Fix For ....... Error: The key is not activated

After talking with Blacksun he quickly pointed me the right way.

 

 

right click the time/date (default bottom-right corner), click Date Time settings, then "Internet time", then select any other setting apart from time.windows.com and click sync/update now. Elite was unlocked after this.

 

 

This is a temporary fix.

did everything, set my internet time server to time.nist.gov and i still get the "key is not activated"

the internet time change didn't fix the problem for me.

 

but i changed my vpn from romania to another country and then the problem was gone.
